The Oregon Historical Society is currently accepting applications for two Oral History Indexers.
The Oral History Indexer creates indexes compliant with the Oregon Historical Society (OHS) guidelines from audio recorded oral history interviews to enhance access to the OHS sound recording collection.
- We're looking for candidates who are quick learners, who can work independently, and are able to create concise and easily digestible synopses of complex topics.
- This is an ideal position for a library science or history student.
Both positions are part-time, non-exempt with a schedule of approximately 18 hours per week for a fixed term of one year from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The positions are not eligible for benefits. No relocation assistance is available.
