Presenter: Lisa Sisco from the North Carolina State Archives

Description: This workshop will explore issues surrounding the preservation of and access to archival records (and recordings!) produced by and for people who are blind. The history of tactile systems, preservation challenges and solutions, and access efforts will be covered during this 4-hour workshop. The workshop will also serve as a space to openly discuss the creation of universal guidelines for the preservation of Braille.
